MEET MARK HUTCHINSON

​I didn’t start in finance.

 

My story begins in Zambia, central Africa, where I was raised in a farming family and learned early that hard work wasn’t optional, it was just life. I went to school in Zimbabwe, 600 miles from home, at a boys’ boarding school rooted in the rigorous English education system. Those years built confidence, taught me resilience, self-reliance, independence, and how to thrive under pressure from a young age.

 

At 18, I boarded a plane to the United States by myself. I didn’t have much beyond ambition and a willingness to outwork anyone in the room. Over the next 4 decades, I built companies, led teams, and navigated the real-world ups and downs of business, from the shop floor of the steel industry to the boardroom. Along the way, I learned how money really moves, how risks show up, and how much of the “conventional wisdom” in finance leaves people exposed when markets turn.

 

The 2008 financial crisis was my turning point. Like many, I took losses. But I didn’t just try to recover, I went searching for better answers. That journey led me to the Infinite Banking Concept (IBC), a strategy built around control, liquidity, and long-term protection. The idea that you could create your own private banking system, free from market risk and aligned with your goals, completely changed how I thought about money.

 

Today, my mission is simple: to help others discover what I found, not from a textbook, but from real, lived experience. I work with clients to show them how wealth really works, how capital should flow, and how to create a strategy that gives them confidence, control, and peace of mind.
